Good bourgeois food. Nice outside area
Very traditional, antique, cozy furnishings that invite you to a bygone era. In addition, a home-style delicious meal.
MoreDelicious home cooking from Westphalia. Price-performance ratio was ok
At least 15 people were noisy at the next table and they were constantly toasting to the partying, corona rules unknown
MoreGreat rustic restaurant, extremely tasty rustic home cooking. German cuisine is so rare that it is almost exotic. Definitely visit whoever is in Wuppertal. 100% recommendation
MoreRustic, tasty dishes, lots of choice, large portions - to be recommended without reservation.
MoreExcellent food and very friendly environment !!! If you are close, prefer it! ??
Quaint, German, good. If you like solid food and rustic cosiness, this is the place for you. A big plus for me and a joy for the Altbier offer with "Uerige" at a really mega fair price. Thanks for that - far too seldom in Wuppertal.
MoreGood menu, delicious food, friendly service. We sat comfortably in the middle of the city but away from the hustle and bustle.
MoreI usually only rate the facilities with no business behind them with five stars. But this restaurant deserves it. A great group that works here will make your stay here an experience. Great cuisine, delicious beer. Bergesches Landbier can only be recommended. Extra requests are not ignored here. Prices are completely okay. Atmosphere is great! Overall rating: very good
MoreNice staff and a good cook. Has never been disappointed at Wagner. I'm looking forward to the next visit.
MoreThe restaurant offers home-style meals, including a wide variety of pancakes. We liked the food. The selection of drinks was rather spartan. So there was only one inexpensive red and one white wine. The decor of the restaurant is rather dark and gives the impression of having seen better times a long time ago. It is also possible to sit outside. Parking spaces nearby are scarce. Conclusion: If you don't have any culinary demands, you can be satisfied at Wagner's inexpensive and delicious food.
MoreVery good food. Quick service.
Cozy historical restaurant with a large selection of beers and good food. The price / performance ratio is right. So far always excellent service.
MoreVery nice staff and really delicious food. Rustic and good
Was there for the first time and it is recommended. Very nice and attentive service. Food was delicious too. A visit that's worth it.
MoreBest in town... Best quality, best weiter, exceeds expectations by far. Only 5 stars are possible
MoreFood served lukewarm, but everything else was great. Staff attentive and exceptional atmosphere.
MoreVery unfriendly staff. Had to wait a long time before being able to order, laughed because we ordered small beers.
MoreDelicious ! Was there for the first time. Very nice service and super delicious food :)
MoreI liked to be here. It is very old fashioned design German restaurant which offers very good and tasty beers with very nice foods.
MoreZero. A place for Germans only. about 10 tables and two attendants. I arrived, chose the table, took off coat and scarf, waited minutes sitting and no one even bothered to show the menu. It was 19:00 on a Wednesday, there were 3 free tables. I will not go anymore and do not indicate if you are not German! Tourist treated with contempt.
MoreGoodness
Good vibes with OPCW friends from BUW
Nice place but dishes cooked not so well. Meat looks not too fresh
We enjoyed good food & service here, very helpful & spoke some spoke English & had English menus. Around €3-4 for 40cl beer & €10-15 meal. Although €5.50 for a 50cl coke seems expensive. Otherwise nice central spot, cheers
MoreThis is the best place for traditional German cuisine. It’s also great they take credit cards as we found out some shops and restaurants only take cash. We had a feast eating schnitzel with mushrooms and our appetizer was delicious. Decent selection of beer along with a couple of local brews. They mostly speak German but they did have a waitress who understood English and even better was their menu in English! They told us they usually have reservations and are fully booked but we were lucky to get a table that night. Such a great dinner! It felt like home if you grew up in a German household as I did. We’d go here again.
MoreGreat place, great beer and service!
Delicious. Regional products: beer, meat and dishes in general.
For a best schnitzel you have to be here ...
Good beer choice and nice steak. Go for it!
Nice and cozy place. Friendly staff.
Nice good at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Very wide ranging menu with all the German classics as well as some more modern choices.
MoreOne of the better restaurants in Wuppertal. Has quite some traditional German meals that taste great. Service and prices are good, but it is relatively hard to get a table for dinner, so reservations are needed. It's a cosy place and looks quite original. Recommended for a visit.
MoreThank you for being with us!
We will call you back!
